Description of Duties:

Provide analysis, consulting, and verification services to help clients achieve energy efficiency and sustainability for building projects. Provide building energy modeling designs for all projects.

Participate in hiring engineers; guide and mentor engineers within the Energy Department; provide Quality Control for work under supervision; help define and organize department standards, details, and specifications; Manage workload and deadlines; Head up small specialty projects; Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing conceptual designs with Project Managers and meet clients as needed; Help produce proposals and marketing materials and work with accounting department on energy department projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a closely related field and a minimum of four years of experience producing building simulation models using either eQuest, Energy Plus or Design Builder software. CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or BEMP (Building Energy Modeling Professional) is required.
